DESCRIPTION:Join us to watch the new documentary Screenagers: Elementary S
chool Age Edition. Dr. Ruston, filmmaker and primary care physician, takes
a deeply personal approach to the topic of screens, exploring the vulnera

challenges such as setting limits, managing device distractions in school,
moderating video game use, and navigating exposure to online content at t
oo young an age. Featuring insights from experts such as Jonathan Haidt, A
nna Lembke, and many others, along with real-world stories from families a
nd schools, the film examines how technology impacts children’s developm
ent and offers practical guidance to help kids build healthier relationshi
ps with screens and find balance in a digital world.  Adrienne Ferretti,
retired WPS Kindergarten teacher, Katie Lynch (LCSW), Mental Health Clini
cian at Youth and Social Services, and Mandy Miranda, Director of Youth an
d Social Services, will facilitate a post-screening discussion with the au
