DESCRIPTION:Join us for a vibrant celebration of Asian & Pacific Ameri
 can Heritage Month! Sarada Nori, Artistic Director of Layavinyasa School o
 f Music, will perform a South Indian classical dance while interweaving st
 ories from Indian festivals and ancient Hindu scriptures, enhanced by visu
 als and expressive hand gestures that bring the narratives to life. The pr
 ogram will include interactive segments where audiences are invited to lea
 rn and participate in the festive folk dance "Dandia Raas" and t
 ry hand gestures or "mudras" from classical dances. This is a h
 ybrid program; patrons may attend in-person at the library or virtually on
