Many of our native pollinators spend the winter hibernating right here in Connecticut. Their survival of the colder months is crucial to ensuring a healthy and abundant ecosystem for all. Come and learn a few of the simple things you can do in your yard this fall to foster a supportive environment for the fireflies, bees, moths, and butterflies that share our surroundings. Nancy Tipping, Ambassador of the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, will lead this one-of-a-kind presentation on sustainable gardening.
