Wardrobe engineer Dr. Pat Trautman will share her journey through the years into the magic of costuming, shedding light on the changes and challenges that have shaped the industry. Her expertise has been instrumental in bringing the vision of costume designers to life, ensuring that every garment enhances the storytelling magic of theater and film. An expert in fit, pattern, and process, Dr. Trautman has collaborated with award-winning costumers, contributing to the success of acclaimed productions including The Greatest Showman and Bohemian Rhapsody. Samples of costumes from Bohemian Rhapsody, Bridgerton, and other film & television wardrobes will be on display during the event. You may even try one on! This presentation promises to be as educational as it is entertaining, offering attendees a rare behind-the-scenes look at the intricacies of costuming.
