From "Wizard" to "Wicked": The Greatest Film Adaptations of All Time

Most were bestsellers, others were simply great books. But they were all adapted into famous films. This presentation by author and pop culture historian Marty Gitlin features clips from the best of the best, including such unforgettable classics as The Wizard of Oz, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Godfather, Jaws, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and The Shining, as well as more modern standouts such as Forrest Gump, Harry Potter, and Wicked. Marty will also challenge patrons with movie trivia and will follow the presentation with a Q&A. This presentation promises to be both enlightening and fun, so please join us!
