Growing native plants in your garden is an important way to provide food and habitat for our pollinators. You can affordably expand the number of native flora in your yard by growing them yourself from seed. In this virtual workshop led by certified Master Gardener Jim Sirch, we’ll discuss the cultivation requirements for different plant species and get you fully equipped for the coming months. You'll learn how to prepare an upcycled milk jug filled with implanted seeds to germinate over the winter. You will also learn how to take proper care of your seedlings as they sprout and take root!
