Our three-part "Food for Thought" series, led by Priya Gooty of Omni Health LLC, emphasizes the benefits of eating nutritious, home-prepared meals over eating out. The program covers meal planning strategies and aims to make the process enjoyable. Attendees will receive recipe handouts and participate in an interactive game at the end of each session.
Class Two (Thursday, Oct. 16) - "Safe Meal Storage": Understand why proper food storage is crucial for meal prepping. We'll cover techniques to maintain freshness, prevent spoilage, and ensure food safety. Learn how to extend shelf life, reduce food waste, and keep your prepped meals ready to enjoy throughout the week.
