Community Conversations is a program series planned and facilitated by members of the Wallingford Social Justice Team. Resources offered here are for those who would like to learn more about recent topics discussed in this popular series.

On October 14, 2025 the Wallingford Public Library presented a program titled “Building Bridges of Belonging: A Community Housing Conversation.” The following resources related to the program have been compiled by members of the Wallingford Public Library Social Justice Team.

Wallingford Works for Housing A growing non-partisan group of Wallingford residents with the goal to raise community awareness and support for expanded housing options.
Housing Solutions Lab To enhance local affordability. To foster inclusive communities. This is a general resource on housing including data on Wallingford and various town and city plans for alleviating the housing crisis.

Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University Produces a wide range of working papers, research briefs, and and major reports from homeownership, rental housing, affordability, aging, remodeling, and more. 

The US Housing Crisis Explained: What Americans Need to Know RAND research and commentary website summarizes issues and solutions.
