Event Details

Grades 2-8 | Registration Required

Come compete for a custom made Pokémon trophy and the title of best trainer in Wallingford! You will be matched up with other players for three rounds of games, then the players with the best records will duke it out in the finals for prizes. In addition to the trophy and title, other prizes will be given out to finalists including rare and powerful cards! Prizing will scale based on attendance, so the more people who enter, the more prizes will be given out. This program will be part of Game On! for October. 

If you don't have your own deck the library has loaner decks you can borrow.

 

Tournament Rules

  • You must already know the rules for the Pokémon TCG
  • Decks must be 60 cards exactly.
  • Matches are best of 1.
  • Round time is 30 minutes, any match still in progress when 30 minutes are reached will be declared a draw.
  • Fake cards/proxies in decks are allowed but must be approved by Mr. Josh before the tournament begins.
  • Decks cannot have mismatched sleeves or damaged/different card backs. All sleeves and/or card backs must match.
  • Cards from any era of Pokémon are legal.
