Do you like to debate? Do you want to participate in something bigger than you? Are you a committed and dedicated teen? Then the WPL debate club is for you! Each session, we will introduce a new debate topic. Then, each team will have time to research and devise an argument. We will then have an entire debate discussion with a judge who will award points. Overall, this will be a fun and competitive team that will be an opportunity for all local high school students.
This will be the first (introductory) meeting of the WPL Teen Debate Club. If you are interested in joining but cannot make this session, please email Kayleigh Sprague, Head of Teen Services, at ksprague@wallingfordlibrary.org.
