Learn to use Cricut Design Space to create stickers from images you find or invent! 

Founded in 1987 and housed within The Wadsworth Atheneum, the Amistad Center was inspired by the historical Amistad ship, whose African captives famously revolted for their freedom in 1839.

We will be using wooden pieces cut with our laser cutter to create decorative wooden quilting blocks! There will be three different classic quilt block patterns for you to choose from. Please note that this is not a quilting program.

Books, puppets, and songs will reinforce your child's pre-reading skills through repetition and rhyme. A craft is included that will help kids develop their fine motor skills.

Come join us for a weekly program to forge new connections with folks you might otherwise never get to know!

On Fridays between 11 am and 1 pm, we will host weekly drop-in sessions at the library for anyone who would like to speak with a social worker.

Spend a Friday evening reading with a high school buddy! Choate volunteers will join us to do some group read-alouds, small group reading practice, and other fun activities.
